Forever

I hear you breathing
a smile is on my face "you are still here"
felt like dreaming
feared that when it ends you'd disappear
my hands are holding to my ribs
they tore my chest wide open just for you
defenceless I am lieing here
not at all afraid what you will do

as I watch you lieing there
my heart and my head both feel so right
everything I'm clinging to
I have no doubt to leave it all behind
one question comes right to my mind
"where were you hiding all my life?"

I lost my hope but
you just came and gave me yours instead
by your side I
finally found a place to rest my head
since you came into my life
the grass thats on my side turned finally green
all that it comes down to is
I think I know now what "forever" means
